Lionel Richie Rings in 2025 at Atlantis, The Palm’s Spectacular New Year’s Eve Gala

International music icon Lionel Richie headlined Atlantis, The Palm’s legendary New Year’s Eve Gala, delivering a show-stopping performance that dazzled more than 4,000 guests on the biggest night of the year.

Renowned for his soulful voice and charismatic stage presence, Richie treated the audience to a captivating set of timeless classics, including “Hello,” “All Night Long (All Night),” “Easy,” and “Brick House.” The global superstar’s 60-minute performance, featuring his masterful artistry on the grand piano, built anticipation for the 2025 countdown and left the crowd in awe.

Adding to the evening’s magic, Atlantis Dubai illuminated the skies with a breathtaking display of 12,975 fireworks that stretched from Atlantis, The Palm to its sister resort, the ultra-luxury Atlantis The Royal. Guests watched in amazement as the night sky came alive in a symphony of colors.

The event, held on a custom-built deck overlooking The Palm Island and Dubai’s glittering skyline, was a feast for the senses. Guests indulged in a lavish buffet featuring 50kg of caviar, two tonnes of lobster, 300kg of Alaskan king crab, and 6,000 oysters, accompanied by free-flowing Champagne. The celebration also featured a 30-piece band, elevating the party to new heights.

This year, Atlantis, The Palm expanded its offerings to include new VIP Sky Suites, boasting enhanced amenities, award-winning dining, and unparalleled views of the stage and fireworks display. The elevated experience cemented the gala as one of the most unforgettable New Year’s Eve celebrations in Dubai.
